The Challenge

Uproot Talent is a talent advisory & executive search firm that focuses on equitable experiences for an inclusive talent pool. The challenge we faced was how do we leverage the brand equity our client built into her personal brand to seed trust in Uproot, a recently launched venture? How can we visually exemplify the core values of Uproot Talent and extend the visual identity to the website for an enhanced user experience?

Our Approach

In an industry that includes diversity, equity and inclusion, consumers want to know, “Can I trust you?” The integrity of Uproot reflects the efforts of our client and we were inspired to bring her vision to fruition. Proper brand integration would ensure the market sees an alignment between our client’s personal brand and Uproot’s brand Promises. To start Uproot’s brand strategy, we focused on brand architecture, brand positioning, brand personality and the brand promise. We identified these components while simultaneously developing the visual brand identity. The client was active in collaborative sessions, providing real-time feedback and approval of the design direction. The logo, style guide and pitch deck were an authentic representation of our client’s mission and vision. Once the brand strategy and visual branding was complete, we completed a full marketing strategy to serve as their go-to market guide, before developing her website. Our process included a sitemap information architecture, wireframe, design and development. The website generates on-going revenue and leads for Uproot Talent.
